Deco Publique Residency

I undertook a research residency with Morecambe-based art and culture company and National Portfolio Organisation, Deco Publique. During this residency I explored ways of generating dialogues with the environment, visiting Eaves Wood, a National Trust site of ancient woodland in Silverdale. Experiences with trees and moss led to the responding artworks, placed in Eaves Wood to facilitate a dialogical interaction with the woodland where environmental encounters manifested on paintings, leaving mossy marks, stains, and twig scratches, and embroidery entangled with moss.
