Relevant Work Experience

2025            Exam Invigilator with the Bishop of Winchester Academy supervising formal and mock examinations to ensure fairness 

                    and integrity,  collecting and distributing exam papers and other required materials to candidates, recording and reporting                       any irregularities to prevent possible candidate malpractice and dealing with candidate queries without providing specific                       aid/guidance.

2022-2023   Teaching Assistant with Teaching Personnel at Victoria Education Centre supporting students in a variety of subjects                               including Art, Literature and Music, invigilating for student exams and acting as a scribe for students both in lessons and                        exams, acting as a practical assistant for a student to assist with the completion of an Art GCSE exam by performing                              practical tasks specifically approved by the awarding body and according to the candidate's instructions, including                                  preparing materials and equipment.

2022            Teaching Assistant with several Teaching Agencies working to help students who require additional support to complete                          tasks, assisting the teacher with lessons, marking and behavioural management, completing reading comprehension                                records and motivating students to think creatively and excel in their studies.

2021-2022   Life drawing Co-ordinator assisting with life drawing classes at Arts University Bournemouth. My role was to                                         organise equipment and registration, ensure the safety of facilities and the comfort of both the students and model while                         incorporating exciting artistic themes into the classes.

2014           Research Assistant for the ‘Children Interviewing Children’ element of the funded  research project ‘An ethnography of                         the Orang Asli communities of Tasik Chini, UNESCO Biosphere Reserve’. Funder: Ministry of Education and Ministry of                     Environment and Natural Resources, Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO Awards.  My role was to conduct                           research work with Indigenous children using art elicitation and interview work (see Publications)

This publication formed part of the research output from the UKRI GCRF project 'Being Developed? Comparing the experiences of economic and social development among indigenous groups in Malaysia and Costa Rica’ (Bournemouth University, UN-University       For Peace, National University – University Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universidad de Costa Rica.

 

2019           Commissioned to create a print for a client: The Ostrich Policy, 2020 (screen print, 21cm x 29cm).
